Great that he finally chose to do a good and honorable thing.
Frankly, from a cosmic point of view (and I'm 64 and past president of a major PR/media firm), I'm glad that Murtha's dead. I'm glad when ANY politico dies. They are all pimps for (first) themselves and then their friends - always at the public's expense. And, sadly, the public (even the ever-shrinking percentage that still have some skin in the game) is too self-absorbed or too unaware or too distracted to know the screwing they collectively get.

Snow Thoughts . . .
Washington (and much of the East Coast) is buried under snow and millions without power - BUT our annointed leader has roads plowed, special vehicles arranged, and probably $200,000 or $300,000 of our money spent so that he - alone among his "fellow Americans" - can get a cushy ride to DNC headquarters to give another photo-op speech.
Does this man have no brain?
What absolute, stick-it-in-your-eye arrogance to show how "special" and important he must be to spend taxpayers' money to clear streets for him alone to "look presidential."
This is what makes me (and others) more and more detest Washington - once they get your vote (and put their hand in your pocket) these people delude themselves into believing they are minor kings, maybe even gods - and that it's our job to pay their way. Unlike millions of Americans, Obama won't even know what it's like to shovel snow (although he continues shoveling the brown stuff as fast as he can).
God, am I disgusted.

Thought of the Day:
I just watched our Annointed Leader give his final "Didn't connect the dots . . . but I take full responsibility" speech.
I was particularly interested to hear him say he wasn't going to "point fingers." How fascinating. I guess he doesn't want to "point fingers" when the ones involved as the "pointees" are the numerous government hacks across his administration. If I remember right our Leader had NO problem pointing fingers at hedge fund managers, insurance companies, auto executives, greedy bankers, medical equipment manufacturers, and the like . . .
Oh, now I get it. Anyone in government (especially those our Leader put in place) pukes white milk, the rest of us are rabble and scum - good only for taxing . . .
Thanks, Pres, your high sense of honor shines on . . .
